Hello Folks

I thought it was about time to announce some sort of official activity. But since I can't afford prizes it won't be a contest. Instead I thought that it would be great to manage some sort of Collaboration Project. That means that you will create a picture together with someone else who possibly has a totally different style - the pairs are built randomly so if you get someone with a similar style or the same it's your luck

This works as follows:

You must be a member of this group.
Write a note to the GROUP titled "Art Trade Project" to sign up.
We need an even number of participants so nobody ends up alone.
The SignUp will run one week counting from this journal.
The selection will be random - you CAN'T chose your partner.
The pairs will be listed in this blog (so be sure to watch the blog or to stop by regularly)!
From the moment the pairs are posted you will have 2 weeks to create your piece.
The artwork you create can be of ANY medium but must fit the groups theme and aim.
If you need inspiration just browse through the group gallery to see what is acceptable
The finished artworks have to be submitted into the correct gallery folder by BOTH participants (means you both submit the finished piece to your gallery).

What is the aim of this when there are no prices?

You get to know each other.
You learn to work together.
You can try out new things.
There is no winning and no losing.

At the end of the project ALL entries will be put into the Featured Folder AND featured in the group blog.

I hope you will enjoy this. In case I don't have enough participants in 7 days from today (18th of June) I will extend the SignUp period. In case we have an uneven number of participants I will participate myself to make the number even
